  • Title 1 Information & Survey Title 1 Presentation and Survey

    Bellflower Middle High School has been authorized to operate a Title I Schoolwide Program.  As a result, the school receives resources from the state and federal governments that enable us to upgrade the entire educational program in order to help all students meet the challenging state standards.

    Below you can access the Annual Title 1 Presentation both in English and Spanish to learn more about the school's program. Your input is also valuable and we ask that all parents submit the survey as soon as possible.

  • Bellflower Middle/High School Back to School NightBack to School Night 2021

    Back to School Night takes place Thursday, September 2nd at 6:00pm virtually. The night begins with a welcome meeting by the BHS Administrative Team at 6:00 pm, followed by online Google Meet visitations with teachers starting at 6:20 pm. We hope to see all of our Buccaneer Families, Because Unity Creates Success!

  • Come to our Book Fair!Bellflower MS/HS  Scholastic Book Fair is Aug. 30-Sept. 3

    Our Book Fair is heading our way and it will run from August 30 - September 3, 2021 in the BMHS Library. Below is a link to the BMHS Book Fair home page. Check it out to see a tour of the Virtual Book Fair, and a link to a catalog of 5,000 books/items available for sale, including LOTS of sale items.   • No Drop-Offs or Deliveries AllowedNo drop-offs or deliveries allowed

    To minimize the disruption of learning and ensure the safety of our campus community, Bellflower Middle/High School can no longer allow any drop-offs or deliveries of food or other items. Please ensure that your student is prepared for the day when coming to school in the morning with their supplies, lunch, money, etc. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Bellflower High/Middle School Bus ScheduleSCHOOL BUS SCHEDULE

    The school district provides bus transportation to and from school for middle school students who live one and a half miles walking distance and for high school students who live two miles walking distance from the school. Riding the bus is a privilege, it can be revoked any time if proper conduct is not shown on the bus or at the bus stop.

    Picture Days will take place Thursday, August 26 & 27 during History and Health classes in the Gym. Make-up Picture Day will be communicated at a later date when it is scheduled.

  • Back to School Drive-Thru GiveawayBack to School Drive-Thru Giveway

    California State Assemblymember for District 58, Cristina Garcia, is partnering with Bellflower Unified School District, Bellflower High School, Community Family Guidance Center, LA Regional Food Bank, Baby2Baby, and CTA for a Back To School Drive-Thru Giveaway on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. The event will be held at BUSD Nutrition Center located at 10247 Alondra Blvd, Bellflower. Free backpacks, food boxes, diapers and essentials will be given out. This is a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Due to safety concerns, this will be a drive-thru only event. For more information, please contact (562) 861-5803.

  • First Day of School 2021-2022First Day of School for Students is Thursday, August 12, 2021

    School starts at 10:00 AM and we will follow the Shortened Day Schedule. The Shortened Day Schedule will be followed on Friday, August 13, 2021 also.

    In the meantime, be sure to complete Data Confirmation, so that we have your most up to date contact information (address, phone, and email) and please continue to visit the district and school websites and follow us on social media for updates.

    Data confirmation is a mandatory process for families to update student information and understand policies and procedures.

    IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE UPDATED CONTACT INFORMATION, SO THAT WE CAN COMMUNICATE DURING EMERGENCIES.

    Click on the “Parents” tab, Click “Parent Portal” or Click Here to be taken directly to the Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Data Confirmation process

  • Student Enrollment Clipart ImageOnline Enrollment For New Students is Now Happening! 

    Bellflower Middle/High School Aeries Online Enrollment allows you to quickly start the process of enrolling your student(s) for school. Information about the student such as emergency contacts, medical, and language information will be collected. Upon completion, the student's information is electronically sent to the school but is not complete until the school site has reviewed the data and received the appropriate required documents.

    Please start the enrollment process of a new student online by visiting: https://bellflowerusd.aeries.net/enrollment/

    and click the “Enroll a New Student” button on the bottom right corner.

  • SchoolCafe Free & Reduced Lunch Application

    Bellflower Unified School District requests that all students complete the Free & Reduced lunch application, even if you feel your student will not qualify.

    The information entered on the application is also used for AP Test Fee Waivers, SAT/ACT Fee Waivers, and College Application Fee Waivers.

  • Work Permit Image Need a Work Permit during the Summer?

    Work Permits are processed and issued by the Bellflower Unified School District Child Welfare and Attendance (CWA) Office during the summer. Students needing a work permit between June 7th and August 12th should email cwa@busd.k12.ca.us to start this process or call (562) 866-9011 and ask for the CWA Office.

  • Bellflower Middle/High School Family Resource Center Centro de Recursos para familias Virtual Family Resource Center

    The Bellflower Middle/High School Family Resource Center will open its doors in the 2020-2021 school year and will be a space for our school community to gather and make lasting connections. The Bellflower Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Office of Education have partnered to bring the Community Schools Initiative to Bellflower Middle/High School. We will collaborate to provide educational and social support resources to ensure the full potential and well-being of all stakeholders. Our staff is committed to the school's mission, vision, and goal of developing critical thinkers and socially responsible citizens. We plan to meet this goal by partnering with our BUC families Because Unity Creates Success!
